How international delivery actually works

The operational story behind every international project.

International projects are not just domestic projects with a longer shipping leg. Different protocols, different risks, different ownership decisions. Here's how we run them.

01

Specification against destination standards

Pre-production

Drivers, voltage, plug standards and compliance requirements all vary by country. CE, UL, RoHS, or regional equivalents are specified at the CAD stage — not discovered at site.

02

Export-grade packing & crating

Pre-dispatch

Crates are built for international freight — fumigated wood where required, foam-cradled, individually labelled by install zone. A shipment that crosses three borders handles the same as one that crosses three city limits.

03

Customs & documentation

Shipping

Commercial invoices, certificates of origin, material declarations and HS codes handled in-house. Broker coordination at destination. Documentation is a delivery dependency, not an afterthought.

04

On-site install — our team or partner crew

Destination

For complex installs, we travel an install lead from India. For simpler commissioning, a trained partner crew at destination handles it under our remote supervision. Decision made per project, based on complexity.

05

Post-handover support across borders

AMC

AMC protocols work internationally — parts shipped as needed, remote diagnostic support, or an install lead flown in for major issues. See AMC & Support for detail.

Commercial terms

What to expect on commercial and currency.

International engagements are contracted differently from domestic. A plain-language view of how we structure them.

Currency

International projects are typically contracted in USD or in the destination currency, with commercial terms agreed at the contract stage. We do not price in INR for international work.

Incoterms

Shipping terms — FOB, CIF, DDP — are agreed per project based on the buyer's preference and their customs experience in the destination country. We have operated across all common Incoterms.

Commercial structure

Advance milestones are structured to match production and shipping stages. Retention percentages, where applicable, are negotiable per contract. International commercial terms are always clearly documented upfront.

Warranty & AMC internationally

Full warranty coverage applies internationally. AMC contracts are negotiated per destination based on access feasibility and parts logistics.
